Meet Oakleigh... Our sweet girl is the cutest thing ever today she turned 7 weeks. She is full of cute noises lots of cooing, laughter, and she tries so hard to talk to us. It just melts our hearts. It is amazing and we love it!!! Motherhood is the greatest experience ever- I would not trade where I am at in my life for anything. I have the best, most supportive husband who by the way is so cute to watch with Oakleigh it is so sweet how protective he is of her, for example when we went to her two week appt. they had to prick her foot and she was crying so hard and Ry looked like he was going to knock the nurse out he was pissed that someone was hurting his little girl, i have the sweetest daughter who is healthy and so strongand a total light in our lives. I have a great job that I love, but am so torn that I have to leave my Oak for a few hours three times a week arrgh!!! hopefully not for to much long. Life is good I'm in a great place right now. Mick took these pictures she always does such a great job... But Oakleigh just makes these pictures just so darn cute... Here's the Wright Family... SO Far :)

TEAR JERKER...

Ryan and I were sitting at home the last night of the Olympics. Sunday night our baby was 6 days old and I was already pretty emotional (but since I have watched it a lot and still cry every time) and then this came on... Talk about Inspirational.... First of all the WORLD Comes together for this Huge event where they all have one goal in mind THE GOLD... Then we watch for two weeks as each event unfolds. Their determination, sweat, tears go in to achieving what they came to do. Some get to stand on the podium and hear their nations anthem and some get to experience the feeling of defeat. What an amazing experience the Olympics would be. We loved watching it and can't wait for Four Years from now for the London Games... Hope you enjoy this as much as we did. We were truly Inspired...

She's Here...

My heart is so full of gratitude and love (and breast milk) he he he... Our baby girl has finally arrived. So here is the story in detail.
It all started Sunday night. Our friends Andrew, Nat, Will and Kate came over to watch Willow and then play a little Solitare frenzy and we were sitting on the floor and thats when contractions started not bad at first I was surviving just uncomfortable. All through the night I was in pain... The next morning I started to keep track of contractions and they were going about every 4,5,7 and then 12 min. Then it would get harder and shorter. Ry and I both weren't sure what to do so by 2:30 in the afternoon we went to the hospital... They checked me and said I was still at a one and that it could stay that way for another week. Talk about Depression I was in so much pain and was about ready to explode so they sent us home. We went in and took a nap and then when I woke up the contractions were even more intense I was so pissed and tired because there was no way I could make it another week. My dear friend Tonya came over to the house and I just started crying I was so miserable I didn't know what to do. She left and then we were sitting on the couch. Ry called my mother in law and her and Kiss my sis. came over and had Cafe Rio in hand. She showed me how to breath during contractions which was a major blessing. Kiss started timing them. It was like every 2,3,1,3,3,2, minutes and they were lasting about a minute and a half. My mother in law said if you get in the tub and are still having contrations that this was the real deal. So I got in the tub and THANKFULLY they kept coming. So we made the call and they said come on down. So off we went to the hospital again. We arrived and they hooked me all up. Checked me again and I was Dialated to a 3 can you believe it I was thrilled she monitored me for a few more minutes and then, Kim our nurse came in and said I've seen enough lets get you admitted. It was for real now and I was ready. Ry and I both looked at each other and it was game on. RY by the way was amazing through the whole thing I have never needed him more then that night. Every time I would get weak minded he was right there to Coach me and encourage me to be strong. I love him so much and would never want to go through this whole experience with any one but him. He is so great, and he did everything I needed him to do. Thumbs pushing in my back and all and one point he thought he tore a tendon in his hand from pushing in my back so hard and for so long. Kind of made me giggle but only for a second until the next contraction:) This started at about 10:00 o clock may I remind you that I had been having contractions since Sunday. I was so done. I walked thehalls for hours, we called mick when they admitted me and she started down I wanted her to be there so bad she finally got there sometime early Tuesday morning and I was so thankful to see her. Steph was amazing and was there the whole time too. Holding my head telling me to keep going. Kiss was rubbing my feet and doing the same. Mom and dad wright were there and My mom and Jess. and sat in that bed and leaned against it and peed fifty times until I had had enough at 5:30 I had it, give me the epiderhal I had planned on going natural the whole time. But enough was enough after that many hours of hard labor I was done. And I was stuck at a 6 for the past two hours. I was so tired and hurting like mad. The epiderhal was placed and then it was a little calmer and I actually fell asleep for a little while. Except the cathader hurt like hell the whole time. I kept asking them about it and they told me to push the button for more drugs. I only pushed it once. Cause I didn't want to be numb forever... Well I was stuck then at a 7 for a good few hours the new nurse Patty came in and Rolled me on my side. And within 20 min. I was at a 10 and ready to go. WOW here she comes. So they got the room ready and I started pushing. It was just the nurses for the first 6-9 contractions of pushing and I could feel it all Ry had to keep reminding me to breath becease my face was purple. I've never pushed so hard then the Doctor came in and had me push. Like four more contractions and then our girl was here. The minute they placed her in my arms it all went away the pain, the stress, the madness. I was the happiest little mommy in the whole world. She is so beautiful and PERFECT in every way. I can't stop starring at her. I have never felt so blessed and close to My husband and my Heavenly Father. What a great experience I'm not sure how many times I want to go through it but it was worth it:) I tore to a 3. which feels great!!! Ha ha ha--- anyways so there is the story. Oakleigh is here. All 8 lbs 13 oz. of her and she was long too 21 1/2 inches. and she looks just like her daddy. Hopefully this post makes sense I have so many thoughts going through my mind. But there is the jist of the story Well I will post pictures soon but for now you can go to micks blog, shells and Kiss's to see pictures of her. Thank you guys for all being there and for experiencing that with us it was so special. And to my coach, and Husband I love you more than anything. and the our sweet girl Oakleigh Welcome to the World!!!!

I'm Ready... Can she come Now?

I'm ready for her to come... For all who have been pregnant before they will know what I am going through ... I am now finally getting to that point(which really could be to soon) but I'm ready for her to be here. Nights are starting to get so tough... I'm sweating to death she feels like she is going to pop out of my belly button... I've just eaten thanksgiving and can't get comfortable ever... NO WONDER WE LOVE OUR KIDS SO MUCH!!! With everything you go through HOly Crap!!! Last night for instance... I finally laid down around 10:30, and thought great a good night sleep... Right... Then at 2:30 Ry comes to bed...He tries to snuggle me. Which to him is putting his leg over mine... :) which I immediatley call out you can't do that I'm roasting to death. Then the whining begins. I run into the bathroom where I proceed to drench my hair with water, blow my nose which doesn't help at all it's stuffed and it's staying that way... We have the fan on in our room, Ry is so cute, he's asking all these questions , while running around closing all the vents so all the air is just blowing in our room... Do you need a drink of water? no (whining continues) do you need more pillows? no ( now I'm back in the room kneeling on the floor head on the bed still whining) Drama... Drama... Drama... Did you take unisom? (which supposedly helps you sleep and is ok to use during pregnancy) No!!! I don't know what I need!!! I just want her out!!! he gives me a hug and we climb in to bed.... He is such a trooper (i'm still whining at this point)... Finally I fall asleep... Kind of until you get up five times to pee through out the night...What a joy this is to be Pregnant... Thank you Ryan for always putting up with me and loving me through it all. And how sad that this is just preparing us for when she does get here and wants to eat every two hours... To Bad Ry's nipples don't work the same as mine!!! Ha ha

For our honeymoon we went on a cruise and we used Carnival Cruise lines it was AWESOME. the second cruise we went on this year for our one year was Princess which is supposed to be a higher end cruise line we really enjoyed Carnival almost more than Princess so it really isn't bad to go cheap... But it was a lot of fun.. Except when we got home this time we both had the flu bad it was terrible and we still don't know what we got sick from...

The other pictures are visits to grandmas

And Ry's Birthday which was in March a little late but at least I am trying a little harder to get some pictures up...

We SMOKED um ALL!!!

In our ward for Valentines Day we had a Party that Saturday night and we played the newly wed game... It was so much fun. RY and I did so good. We smoked everyone there... It was awesome!!! The only one we got wrong was the question? What is the first movie you ever saw together I took that as a couple and he answered correctly with the first time ever watching a movie... He was with another girl and I was with another guy and to make matters even more embarrassing for us at the WARD activity both of our guesses were Rated R... ( I really wasn't embarrassed. But it was funny.... I couldn't believe how well Ry knew all the questions it was a really fun night... That night when we got home we talked a lot about how much we really do know each other... We should we spend every minute we can together... I am so thankful for the husband that I have and how observant he really is Even when he asks like he isn't listening he really is Sneaky Guy he he he ... I love you RY!!!
